Lecom Utility Contractors Responds to Hurricane Delta

LeCom Utility Contractors Storm Restoration Team was mobilized with 70 experienced linemen and a fleet of 40 trucks to join thousands of linemen across the country to restore power outages caused by Hurricane Delta. The LeCom Power Restoration Team was mobilized from Detroit Michigan where they proceeded 1,300 miles to Houston Texas. LeCom was on site within 24 hours from the call for assistance. LeCom Storm Restoration Team spent approximately 2 weeks restoring power to Entergy Customers before returning home. LeCom management would like to thank our Storm Restoration Team for a job well done in a safe professional manner.

Lecom Mobilizes for Hurricane Florence

September, 10 2020

On September 12th, 2018, the LeCom Storm Restoration Team was mobilized to respond to the request for assistance by Duke Energy, due to the imminent threat caused by Hurricane Florence. Lecom responded with a team of more than 100 linemen and 50 utility trucks, along with our Mobile Command Center and numerous support staff. Our linemen were staged in a relatively safe inland location in the Carolina’s as the storm hit on September 14th. After the storm was over, 1.5 Million North Carolina residents were left without power. The moment the storm subsided, LeCom joined an army of lineman from across the country to begin the challenging and dangerous task of repairing the thousands of toppled and broken utility poles.
